Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Triple Ace ("we", "us") for your use of the Prayer Lock app ("the app"). By installing or using the app you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

What Prayer Lock is

Prayer Lock helps you pause before opening apps you choose, with a short moment of breath, scripture and prayer. It is a tool for personal devotion and focus. We give you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use.

Your part

• You choose which apps to pause, when, and for how long. You can change or stop this at any time.
• The pause relies on Android's Accessibility permission, which you grant and can remove yourself.
• Keep your device and its settings under your control. You are responsible for how the app is used on it.

How the pause works, and its limits

The app does its best to show the pause before the apps you choose, but it cannot guarantee it every time. Android, your phone's maker, battery or security settings, updates or other apps may delay, block or stop it. The app is not a parental-control, security or device-management tool, and should not be relied on to restrict anyone's access to an app.

Not professional advice

The prayers, reflections and features in the app are for spiritual encouragement. They are not medical, psychological, legal or pastoral advice, and are not a substitute for care from a qualified professional or your church community. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, contact local emergency services or a crisis line straight away.

Content

Scripture is quoted from the World English Bible, British Edition (WEBBE), which is in the public domain. The app's prayers, text, design, artwork and name belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. Please do not copy, modify, sell or redistribute the app or its content, or try to reverse-engineer it, except where the law allows.

Your data

What you enter stays on your device. Our Privacy Policy explains this in full and forms part of these terms.

Price

The app is currently free to use. If paid features are offered later, their price and terms will be shown before you buy, and payments will be handled by Google Play under its terms.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". As far as the law allows, we make no promises that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or suited to a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer where you live.

Ending use

You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may stop offering or updating the app. If you seriously break these terms, your licence to use the app ends.

Changes

We may update these terms. The current version is always in the app and on our website, with its effective date. If you keep using the app after a change, the updated terms apply.
